The Story of Nandanavanam
Our Story The Birth of Nandanavanam
My name is Suneetha Rachoori, born on April 5, 1987, in a small, peaceful village called Koranja Badra, located in Srikakulam District, near the Odisha border.
Growing up in a rural environment, surrounded by green fields, open skies, and the fragrance of freshly ploughed soil, I developed a deep love for nature. That simple countryside life instilled in me responsibility, compassion, and a lifelong respect for the earth.
As a young woman, I pursued a career as a nurse, which gave me a deep understanding of health and wellness. I realized that our health is closely connected not only to medicine but also to the food we eat and the environment we live in.
In July 2010, while reading the novel “Amulya” by Anuradha Garu, I was completely drawn into its world — a world of strength, purity, and self-discovery. That book inspired me deeply, awakening a sense of purpose and vision for my life.
But the turning point came in 2013. A little girl from our extended family, Roja, fell gravely ill, and her blood platelets began dropping rapidly. She was referred to MNJ Hospital, Hyderabad, where I learned that she was in the final stage of cancer - at just 12 years old.
Her struggle shook me to the core. I started questioning the toxic chemicals, pesticides, and fertilizers in the food and environment we take for granted, which slowly damage our health.
That moment planted the seed of my mission. I began small, with a balcony garden, growing chemical-free vegetables. Then in 2018, a song sent by Rajeev Garu touched my heart, reminding me how human greed and carelessness are harming nature.
It felt as if Mother Earth herself was calling out. At that moment, I made a promise to myself:
> “Even if I don’t live to see 60, I want to leave behind a world where nature can still breathe.”
From that day, my journey toward Nandanavanam began. I learned about organic and natural farming, guided by the wisdom of Subhash Palekar Garu and Vijay Ram Garu, who taught me how to work with nature instead of against it.
When I decided to start farming, Suresh Brother (Save Farmers) gave me constant guidance and support, explaining the challenges, product usage, and practical aspects of farming. Harikrishna Garu, my class mentor from the Horticulture Department, suggested techniques and tips to make farming successful, and Rajendra Brother (Rythu Badi) supported me with crop care and modern agricultural practices. Their encouragement gave me the confidence to move forward despite the difficulties.
In 2021, I finally started organic farming on my land, building a peaceful, chemical-free green space. That dream has grown into Nandanavanam Home Land Dining, where we serve pure, home-grown, chemical-free food, nurturing health, love, and the environment together with my family.
🌿 Heartfelt Gratitude
I want to express my deepest gratitude to:

Rajeev Garu, for the song that awakened my awareness about our relationship with nature.
Anuradha Garu, the author of Amulya, whose words sparked a vision and purpose in my life.
Subhash Palekar Garu and Vijay Ram Garu, for teaching me the principles of sustainable farming.
Suresh Brother (Save Farmers), Harikrishna Garu, and Rajendra Brother (Rythu Badi), whose guidance, advice, and support helped me turn my vision into reality.
To all of you, I offer my heartfelt thanks.
Your inspiration, guidance, and support transformed my personal realization into a mission - to cultivate pure, chemical-free food, protect nature, and share this vision with others.
Through this journey, I have learned that true happiness lies in living in harmony with nature, respecting life, and nurturing health — values that continue to guide Nandanavanam every day.
